I bow to worms, bacteria,
microorganisms, small seed
packets that wait patiently
for the right conditions to
begin new life.
What you seek in this forest garden
seeks you. New life pushes up
beneath forest floor litter.
In the shadows life emerges,
just beyond the edge of vision.
