Terri Hadley Ward | Soul Unbound

Soul unbound.
Scarlet moon fire burning in the black
rivers of her hair,
twirling and stamping, star dancing
she welcomes the moon,
arms outstretched, encircling the night,
beckoning the tides,
breaking the chains of a thousand captive hearts.
Set free your hair
to the wild caress of the wind.
Bare your naked skin
to the kiss of the earth,
bleeding and aching
for your return
to the soft fur, howling animal,
untamed voice calling
within your soul.

Such a breathtaking poem. Lovely and strong. Made me close my eyes at work. I felt the presence of the Goddess in her full form. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words, Valerie! I’m so happy my poem resonated with you and brought the presence of the Goddess to you.
